Which exchange rate does the converter use?+
Fiat currencies use Frankfurter reference rates. BTC and ETH use Coinbase market rates, and fiat to crypto conversions combine those sources when needed.
How current are the exchange rates?+
Fiat rates update when the provider publishes new reference data, while BTC and ETH market rates move more frequently. Refresh Rate requests the latest rate currently available from the provider.
Why can the converted amount differ from my bank or exchange service?+
Banks, card networks, payment providers, and cash exchanges may apply their own margin, spread, or fee. Their customer rate can therefore differ from the reference rate shown here.
Can the exchange rate change after I calculate an amount?+
Yes. Exchange rates can change when new rate data is published. The result uses the rate displayed at the time of calculation, so refresh it when you need the latest available reference rate.
