Question 1

What is Tradeloggy?

Accepted Answer

Tradeloggy is a trading journal and performance review platform built for traders who want to record trades, analyze historical performance, review execution, track trading accounts, and improve discipline. It includes manual journaling, analytics, replay mode, prop firm tracking for both CFD and futures accounts, playbooks, behavior insights, and AI powered tools. Tradeloggy is a product of Zetemora.

Question 2

Do I need to be an experienced trader?

Accepted Answer

No. Tradeloggy can be used by beginners, developing traders, and experienced traders. You can start with simple trade records and gradually add screenshots, notes, playbooks, checklists, and deeper reviews.

Question 3

What markets and instruments are supported?

Accepted Answer

You can record the instruments you trade through the journal. Tradeloggy is designed primarily around the information contained in your own trading records rather than requiring a specific broker.

Question 4

Can I upload trade screenshots?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Screenshots can be attached to trades and used as part of your review process. Screenshots can help preserve the chart context, entry decision, execution, and other information that may not be captured by numbers alone.

Question 5

How do I get started?

Accepted Answer

Create your account, complete the initial account setup, add a trading account, and start recording your trades. For new users, Tradeloggy can ask for your name during onboarding after account authentication.

Question 6

Is Tradeloggy free?

Accepted Answer

Tradeloggy's core journal experience is free to use. The platform is designed around accessible manual journaling without requiring a subscription just to record and review your trading activity. Reasonable technical limits may still apply to protect the platform from abuse and maintain reliability.

Question 7

How do I contact support?

Accepted Answer

You can contact Tradeloggy support by email at support@tradeloggy.com.

Question 8

Is Tradeloggy connected to my broker?

Accepted Answer

Tradeloggy is primarily a manual first journal. The standard journal doesn't require a direct broker connection. Where supported, Tradeloggy's MT5 EA can provide risk management and journaling functionality subject to its setup and compatibility requirements.

Question 9

Is Tradeloggy financial advice?

Accepted Answer

No. Tradeloggy provides journaling, analytics, educational information, AI assisted review, and performance insights. It doesn't provide investment advice, brokerage services, portfolio management, trade execution, or guaranteed trading signals. You remain responsible for your trading decisions and risk.

Question 10

Why journal trades manually?

Accepted Answer

Manual journaling forces you to actively record and think about the decision. Tradeloggy intentionally follows a manual first approach because the goal isn't simply to collect transactions. The goal is to help traders understand their decisions and behavior.

Question 11

How often should I update my journal?

Accepted Answer

Ideally, record the trade while the decision and emotional context are still fresh. The exact routine is up to you, but consistency is more valuable than recording everything weeks later.

Question 12

What details should I record?

Accepted Answer

Record the information that helps you reconstruct the decision. Useful details can include: Instrument, direction, entry, and exit. Stop loss, take profit, and position size. Risk and P&L. Session, setup, Playbook, and checklist. Screenshot, emotion, mistakes, and post trade notes Record the details that make your own review easier.

Question 13

Do I need to record every trade?

Accepted Answer

For the most useful performance analysis, you should aim to maintain a complete and honest record of your executed trades. Selective journaling can create biased results.

Question 14

What is the benefit of reflecting on trades?

Accepted Answer

Reflection helps you identify repeated behaviors instead of focusing only on individual outcomes. It can reveal patterns such as: Overtrading. Hesitation. Poor risk control. Emotional decisions or repeated execution mistakes

Question 15

Can I use AI to analyze my trades?

Accepted Answer

Yes, where the relevant AI feature is available. AI can help analyze recorded information and identify patterns, but its output should be treated as informational and educational rather than guaranteed financial advice.

Question 16

How do I make journaling a habit?

Accepted Answer

Record the trade soon after execution. Use consistent labels. Avoid unnecessary fields. Review your data on a regular schedule

Question 17

What if I make a mistake entering a trade?

Accepted Answer

Correct the record when you notice the mistake. Accurate data matters because analytics and AI insights depend on the information stored in your journal.

Question 18

Should I focus only on winning trades?

Accepted Answer

No. Winning trades can teach you what worked, but losing trades and mistakes often reveal where your process needs improvement. A useful journal should contain the complete picture.

Question 19

Why does my P&L not always match the number of pips?

Accepted Answer

Pips measure price movement. Profit and loss depends on factors such as position size, instrument, contract specifications, and other trading costs. Two trades with the same number of pips can therefore produce different monetary results.

Question 20

What is risk to reward ratio?

Accepted Answer

Risk to reward ratio compares the amount you could lose if your stop is reached with the potential reward represented by your planned target. For example, risking $100 for a planned $200 reward represents a 1:2 risk to reward ratio.

Question 21

Why should I record losing trades?

Accepted Answer

Losing trades contain information about execution, risk, discipline, and decision making. Recording only winning trades creates an incomplete and misleading performance history.

Question 22

What is the purpose of the checklist score?

Accepted Answer

A checklist helps you consistently evaluate whether a trade follows your own rules before execution. It can make repeated decision criteria easier to measure and review.

Question 23

Why should I upload screenshots?

Accepted Answer

Screenshots preserve visual context that numbers cannot always capture. They can help you review entries, exits, structure, execution mistakes, and whether the trade matched your original plan.

Question 24

Does journaling guarantee better trading results?

Accepted Answer

No. Journaling can improve awareness and make repeated behaviors easier to identify, but it cannot guarantee profitability. Trading involves financial risk and future results are uncertain.

Question 25

Can I delete a previous trading account?

Accepted Answer

You can manage your trading accounts within Tradeloggy according to the account management options available in your account. Before deleting anything, make sure you understand how the action affects the associated records.

Question 26

Can I manage multiple trading accounts?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can separate different trading environments, such as prop firm, live, paper, or other accounts, so their performance data doesn't become mixed together. Prop firm accounts cover both CFD and futures firms, and each account is tracked with its own rules.

Question 27

How do I add a new trading account?

Accepted Answer

Open your trading account management area and add the account details required by Tradeloggy. Use accurate starting information so later performance calculations remain meaningful.

Question 28

Which prop firm account types does Tradeloggy support?

Accepted Answer

Tradeloggy tracks both CFD and futures prop firm accounts. For CFD firms you choose your challenge type and targets. For futures firms you pick the firm first, such as Apex, Topstep, Tradeify, MyFundedFutures, or Bulenox, and then you see only that firm's own account sizes and rules. CFD accounts are measured in percent and futures accounts in dollars, so the progress you see matches how your firm actually measures you. Every result is a tracked estimate from your own recorded trades, not an official result from the firm.

Question 29

How many trades can I record?

Accepted Answer

Tradeloggy is designed for regular journaling. Reasonable technical limits may apply to protect system performance and prevent abuse. If a specific limit applies to your account or feature, the application should communicate it directly.

Question 30

How many screenshots can I upload?

Accepted Answer

Screenshot uploads may be subject to storage, file size, rate, or system limits. These limits can change as the platform evolves.

Question 31

How do I access my Tradeloggy account?

Accepted Answer

Tradeloggy uses passwordless authentication. Depending on the available authentication options, you may be able to continue with Google, email verification, or a passkey. You don't need to create a traditional password based account to use the passwordless flow. When you sign in with email, enter your email address and follow the verification method shown by Tradeloggy. After successful authentication, existing users can continue to their account, and new users may be asked for their name during onboarding before entering the main application.

Question 32

What happens if I can't access my account?

Accepted Answer

First, confirm that you're using the correct email or authentication method. Your available authentication methods depend on how your account is configured and how the authentication provider associates identities. If Google sign in doesn't recognize your existing account, don't create unnecessary duplicate accounts, and contact support so the account identity can be reviewed. If you still cannot access the account, contact support@tradeloggy.com. Don't send your password, authentication codes, or other sensitive credentials to support.

Question 33

Is my data secure?

Accepted Answer

Tradeloggy implements security controls designed to protect accounts and user information. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security. You should also protect your email account, passkeys, authentication methods, and other credentials.

Question 34

What is a Playbook?

Accepted Answer

A Playbook is a structured description of a trading setup or strategy that you want to follow and evaluate consistently. It can help you compare trades against the rules you intended to follow.

Question 35

How many Playbooks can I create?

Accepted Answer

You can create the Playbooks you need to describe the setups you genuinely trade. Each Playbook represents a distinct setup or process you want to review over time.

Question 36

Can I link trades to a Playbook?

Accepted Answer

Yes, where the Playbook functionality is available for your trade records. Linking trades allows you to review how a particular setup performs over time.

Question 37

Why should I document my Playbooks?

Accepted Answer

Documenting a setup makes your trading process easier to review. Instead of judging every trade in isolation, you can compare actual execution with the rules you intended to follow.

Question 38

How do I review Playbook performance?

Accepted Answer

Use your journal and analytics to review the trades associated with a Playbook. Look for repeated evidence across a meaningful sample rather than judging a strategy from one or two trades.

Question 39

Can I edit an existing Playbook?

Accepted Answer

Where the functionality is available, you can update a Playbook's rules as your process develops. Changes apply to how you evaluate future trades, while the records of past trades remain as they were logged.

Question 40

Should I've multiple Playbooks?

Accepted Answer

Only if you genuinely trade different setups or processes. Too many Playbooks can make your journal unnecessarily complicated and reduce consistency in your data.

Question 41

What is the Review section?

Accepted Answer

Review brings your recorded trading data together so you can examine performance, execution, behavior, and historical patterns.

Question 42

What metrics does Review show?

Accepted Answer

Depending on the available data, Tradeloggy can provide metrics such as profit and loss, win rate, profit factor, expectancy, pips, winning and losing streaks, session performance, long and short performance, instrument performance, daily performance, Playbook performance, and risk related information.

Question 43

How should I use historical data?

Accepted Answer

Use historical data to identify repeated patterns. Look for meaningful differences between setups, sessions, instruments, account types, and execution behaviors. Avoid making major decisions based on very small samples.

Question 44

What are overtrading days?

Accepted Answer

Overtrading days are days where your recorded activity indicates trading behavior beyond the process or limits you intended to follow. The exact interpretation depends on the data and rules you use.

Question 45

Can I compare different time periods?

Accepted Answer

Yes, where the relevant analytics are available. Comparing periods can help you identify whether a change in execution or behavior is persistent rather than temporary.

Question 46

What is a losing streak?

Accepted Answer

A losing streak is a sequence of consecutive losing trades according to the recorded results. It should be interpreted together with sample size, risk per trade, and the broader performance history.

Question 47

What is a missed setup, and does it affect my P&L?

Accepted Answer

A missed setup is an opportunity you identified but did not execute. It's kept separate from executed trades, so it shouldn't change your profit and loss, win rate, profit factor, expectancy, pips, drawdown, or executed trade statistics. Tracking missed setups can reveal problems such as hesitation, late preparation, lack of confidence, poor timing, or failure to follow a valid process.

Question 48

What is Replay Mode?

Accepted Answer

Replay Mode helps you review historical trades and execution context so you can study what happened without relying only on the final result. It's designed for review and learning, not for predicting future markets.

Question 49

Does Tradeloggy have AI features?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tradeloggy includes AI powered features designed to support trading review, psychology, productivity, and analysis of recorded trading information.

Question 50

What is the AI Coach?

Accepted Answer

AI Coach provides structured insights based on your recorded trading data. It can help identify patterns in performance, behavior, sessions, instruments, and other historical information. It doesn't predict future market movements or guarantee profitable trades.

Question 54

What data does Tradeloggy AI use?

Accepted Answer

Depending on the feature, AI may use information you provide and relevant recorded trading information available to that feature. The purpose is to produce contextual analysis rather than invent trading history.

Question 55

Is AI a replacement for a trading mentor?

Accepted Answer

No. AI can provide structured reflection and educational assistance, but it cannot replace independent judgment, professional advice, or the responsibility of the trader.

Question 56

Question 60

Where export functionality is available, the supported formats and fields can change as the product evolves. If a specific format is offered for your account or feature, the application indicates it.

Question 62

Should I keep my own copies of exported reports?

Accepted Answer

Keeping your own copies of exported reports can be useful for record keeping and review. Because exports can contain sensitive trading and financial information, store and share them carefully.
